The newly reunited Winchester family will work on their first case together in the next episode of "Supernatural" season 12.

The episode titled "The Foundry" will feature the new case that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) needs to investigate. But this time, the Winchester brothers will be helped by their mother, Mary (Samantha Smith), who was recently resurrected by The Darkness (Emily Swallow).

According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode, the Winchester family will look into the mysterious deaths that happen whenever the sound of a baby's cry comes out from an abandoned house.

Den of Geek posted the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads: "When a crying baby leads to death in a mysterious abandoned house, Mary, Sam and Dean decide to investigate. Meanwhile, Castiel's (Misha Collins) hunt for Lucifer (guest star Rick Springfield) leads him, begrudgingly, to partner up with Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard)."

Could Mama Winchester's help make life easier for his sons, or will her interference cause a clash within the family? The relationship between the mother and her sons continues to be shaky at the moment since they do not exactly know each other that much. But there could be a chance that things will change in the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, the unexpected partnership between the angel Castiel and the demon Crowley will finally unfold in the upcoming episode.

Castiel's determination to put Lucifer back to his vessel means that he needs all the help that he can get to be able to locate the missing fallen angel. Since Crowley is also determined to regain his throne in hell that Lucifer currently occupies, the demon will be more than willing to work with Castiel despite their long history of hatred for one another. Could the two finally capture their common enemy?

The next episode of "Supernatural" season 12 will air on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
