Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) face yet another life-threatening situation in the upcoming finale of "Supernatural" season 12.

Titled "Who We Are," the first half of the one-hour finale will see the Winchester brothers in the middle of a tough situation. Their relationship as brothers is put to the test when they have no choice but to rely on each other. Elsewhere, the fight between the British Hunters and the American Hunters will finally come to an end.

In "All Along the Watchtower," Sam, Dean, and Castiel (Misha Collins) team up for one last fight against Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino). Determined to get control of his unborn child, the King of Hell will resort to extreme measures to take down his enemies.

"Supernatural" is certainly not pulling any punches now that only two episodes are left in the current season. The CW released a new sneak peek (via Entertainment Weekly) from the episode, hinting that there will be a lot of tears and a surprise comeback.

Aside from Sam, Dean and Castiel, the British Men of Letters are seen preparing for their final showdown with Lucifer. Kelly (Courtney Ford) is getting ready to give birth, while Jody (Kim Rhodes) makes an unexpected return. Castiel seems to be dealing with another enemy and Dean can be seen crying. The reason why he is getting very emotional remains to be seen.

In another teaser, Sam and Dean are plotting their escape to save the entire world from Lucifer. The brothers are shocked when they learn about Lucifer's return. The characters' game faces and scenes with guns blazing suggest the finale will be action packed. At the end of the clip, Castiel appears to be alone as he prepares to square off against an unknown adversary.

The 12th season of "Supernatural" airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
