An epic battle is looming in the upcoming episode of "Supernatural" season 11, and it will involve the Horn of Jericho.
Based on the trailer for the episode called "Hell's Kitchen," the Winchester brothers seem to get an unlikely ally in Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard). Though he has a reputation for his inconsistent allegiances with both the good and the bad, Crowley appears to be thinking about what will benefit both sides.
The demon informed Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that the Horn of Joshua could help them defeat The Darkness, and it seems like Lucifer (portrayed by Misha Collins) possesses the very important instrument. Lucifer will also reportedly try to conquer Heaven, but it will not be successful.
Meanwhile, Amara/The Darkness (Emily Swallow) appears to be very furious in the trailer for the upcoming episode. Her loud shriek seems to have stirred the peace and tranquility of the place. This could mean that both Lucifer and The Darkness are plotting to become the leader of Heaven. Yet who among them will be triumphant in conquering the land?
The season synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: "Lucifer takes a trip home and tries to assert himself into Heaven. Crowley tells Sam and Dean he has a way to take down Amara."
On the other hand, The CW officially announced that "Supernatural" will return for its 12<sup>th season. However, the stars of the show already have an idea how they want their characters to say goodbye to their fans at the end of the series.
"I don't really know where it's going to go. I always thought Dean would make the ultimate sacrifice for his brother. I guess if I had to choose something, that's probably what I would choose," Ackles said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. On the other hand, Padalecki believes that the Winchester boys will continue fighting as long as they are alive.
The next episode of "Supernatural" season 11 airs on Wednesday, April 6, on The CW.
