'Supergirl' spoilers: Kara struggles to fix her past mistakes; 'The Flash' crossover details revealed

Kara (Melissa Benoist) will have to face the repercussions of her trip to the Red Kryptonite in the next episode of "Supergirl."

In an interview with TVGuide, Benoist revealed that Kara will do everything that she can to regain everyone's trust after the consequences of her previous actions, including her fit of jealousy in front of James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and causing J'onn J'onzz/Hank Henshaw's (David Harewood) imprisonment.

According to the actress, it could take a while before the rift between Kara and James will be fixed after she said a lot of things that are hard to retract. But she believes that they can sort things out.

However, Benoist is not as optimistic when it comes to Hank, who is now detained at the DEO after he was forced to reveal his true identity.

"Seeing Hank in prison might possibly be the guiltiest she has ever felt. It is kind of her fault," the actress explained. "He's such a paternal figure to her and Alex that there's a lot of pain involved in seeing him locked up when she knows the truth about him. He's actually an ally and a force of good."

In Monday's episode of "Supergirl" titled "Manhunter," viewers will get to learn more details about how J'onn J'onzz assumed Hank's identity, as well the details of his first meeting with Dr. Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain), Kara and Alex's (Chyler Leigh) father.

Also, the episode airing on Monday, March 21 will reveal that Siobhan (Italia Ricci) is coming up with an evil plan against Kara.

Meanwhile, the details about the upcoming crossover episode between "Supergirl" and "The Flash" have been revealed by the shows' executive producer, Andrew Kreisberg. In the episode, Benoist will be reunited with her former "Glee" co-star Grant Gustin, who portrays the role of Barry Allen/The Flash in The CW series.

"Barry and Kara take a little bit of a leave of their problems for a week to engage in the kind of hilarious high-stakes high jinks that ensue when two super­heroes wind up in the same universe," Kreisberg shared with Entertainment Weekly.

The crossover episode between "Supergirl" and "The Flash" titled "Worlds Finest" airs March 28.
