Those who are looking forward to catching a first look at CBS' latest superhero series "Supergirl" should tune in to the second season premiere of "Scorpion" on Monday night.

In a press release reported by UPI, the network announced that an all-new trailer will be unveiled in the first episode of "Scorpion" season 2 starring Elyes Gabel and Katharine McPhee. The official press release from CBS reads:

"The 75-second trailer will give viewers the first look beyond the pilot at one of the most buzzed-about new series of the fall. After the trailer's broadcast debut, it will be available on www.youtube.com/supergirl."

"Supergirl" is the newest superhero sci-fi action drama that features the popular female DC Comics character Kara Zor-El and her alter-ego Supergirl, portrayed in the series by "Glee" alum Melissa Benoist. Supergirl disguises as a human named Kara Danvers.

She is one of the last Kryptonians to survive the deadly radioactive core explosion that eliminated the entire planet Krypton. Kara/ Supergirl is also the biological cousin of Superman, whose Kryptonian name is Kal-El.

CBS has already released the first look of the eerie-looking android known as Red Tornado/ T.O Morrow. The network describes the character, portrayed by "Salem" star Iddo Goldberg, as "the most advanced android the world has ever seen."

The description reads: "Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City — including the people Supergirl cares about most."

Benoist will be joined by Jeremy Jordan as Kara's friend and colleague Winslow Schott, Mehcad Brooks as Kara's potential love interest James Olsen, and "Ally McBeal" alum Calista Flockhart as Kara's boss Cat Grant.

"Supergirl" is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 26
