Nintendo just recently had another one of its Nintendo Direct event where they reveal a lot of things they have been working on. By the end of its event, Nintendo apparently had one more surprise up their sleeves. They were proud to announce that "Super Smash Bros." is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The news was shown with a trailer that many people did not think was about the game. The trailer featured characters from the "Splatoon" game so fans thought it would be about the said game. However, other characters started coming in such Mario and Link and putting two and two together, it was easy to see that it is going to be "Super Smash Bros."

There are still a lot of characters that are not seen but all of them can be seen in a silhouette. Fans could see some of them based on their silhouette including Samus, Donkey Kong and Bowser. Comments on the official trailer would mention all the others that people have noticed.

What many fans are wondering, however, is whether the game will be a new kind of game or a new version. Some think that with the inclusion of the Splatoon Inklings, it could be an entirely new game. Others could argue that it is just going to be a port from an already existing game but with a new character.

According to Comicbook.com, there may be more reasons to think that it is a new game rather than a port. The last "Super Smash Bros." was back in 2014 for the WiiU and they presumably had enough time to make an updated version of the game. If a port was planned, they had more reason to do so last year.

Whatever it may be, the "Super Smash Bros" for the Switch will not take long before release. Nintendo announced that the game will come out within the year.
