The "Street Fighter" game franchise is one of the oldest game series that many players have grown up with. With each new release of the game comes new character but for the latest "Street Fighter 5," some of the original characters from decades ago have not yet been added. One of them is Blank who will actually be coming to the game.

Blanka will be the game's second downloadable content (DLC) character for the Arcade Edition relaunch. Those who have been using Blanka as their main character in the game franchise can definitely play him the same way in "Street Fighter 5." Interestingly, Blanka is actually one of the producer's favorite character.

Yoshinori Ono, the game's producer, brings with him a Blanka toy whenever he goes to a Capcom-related event most especially when it is about the "Street Fighter" franchise. Blanka was originally introduced in "Street Fighter 2."

Most of his moves, Electric Thunder, Critical Art, and the Coward Crouch which is his V-move will remain the same in the latest game, as per Gamerant. However, the game will be offering three new skins for him which can actually be seen in the Blanka trailer video. This includes the Story Costume, the Battle Costume, and the Nostalgia Costume.

The Story Costume is actually just Blanka wearing a costume of himself. The Battle Costume features some tribal armor which can have 10 different colorways. Lastly, the Nostalgic Costume is called nostalgic for a reason as the color scheme of Blanka himself will resemble the colors from his first character model in the first games of the series.

Blanka can be bought in three different ways: paying $5.99, using 100,000 Fight Money, or get the Season 3 Pass which includes other characters. He will be available starting Feb. 20, 2018.
