The details of the next beta phase for "Street Fighter 5" have been finally released by Capcom-Unity before it becomes available in the coming days.

The announcement was posted on the game developer's official blog site, where the release dates for the global beta have been stated.

According to the announcement, players can start testing the game from Oct. 22 until Oct. 25, and it will be the first time that the game studio will offer a cross-platform play between PC and PlayStation 4 users for the upcoming beta.

"We will be testing out PS4 to PC cross-platform play functionality on October 24th and 25th. This is a first for us and we are very excited for players across both platforms to finally have a chance to battle one another. Make sure to bring your best strategies as the number of people that you can fight against will be that much larger this time around," according to the Capcom-Unity beta announcement.

The upcoming beta will come with the same build that was demonstrated at the Tokyo Game Show. It will allow the players to have the chance to play the characters including R. Mika, Karin, Ken, Necalli, Vega, and Rashid. However, Rashid will only be available on Oct. 23 while Karin will be added on Oct. 24.

The characters from the previous beta such as Nash, Ryu, Birdie, Cammy, Chun-Li, and M. Bison will not be available this time.

Also, the upcoming beta will be tracked by the game studio through their leaderboards. Capcom-Unity will display the best players from both PC and PlayStation 4 platforms to give the best players the bragging rights of the exceptional players for everyone to see.

PC gamers can access the "Street Fighter 5" beta by pre-ordering the game, while those who will use the PlayStation 4 will have to enroll their accounts on the PlayStation Store.
