"Stardew Valley" has been out for nearly two years now, yet developer Sickhead Games continues to give out updates. Recently, the "Stardew Valley" version for the Switch gets one of the biggest updates that fixes a lot of issues and adds more features.
One of the biggest features that the update added is the ability to record videos as gamers play the game. As many fans and faithful gamers have also mentioned, there have been issues on its crackling and seemingly low-quality audio. The saving times have also been improved, causing less time for the game to do so. In line with this, there appears to be some animation added while it is saving.
Also, there are a lot of minor but quite annoying issues that the update has finally solved. The Controller Support App now asks players about switching controllers when it previously did so without notifying gamers. Cutscenes are also easier to enjoy now with the assurance that all characters that are meant to be in it will actually appear.
Game crashes were also one of the main issues of the game. Although there were multiple causes for this, most have been addressed by the latest update. In particular, the following crashes that the update has fixed include: crashing when gamers make their players sleep, especially if any of the important tools are not in the inventory; crashing when opening the journal while not having quests; and crashing when pressing the '-' button while playing a minigame at the Saloon.
Finally, those stuck with the Wizard's Slay Monster quest, where players are asked to kill 0 monsters, can now proceed with the quest. Music also no longer continues playing when daytime comes. The list of all updates can be seen on the game's official website.
