'Star Wars Episode 7' plot spoilers: Darth Revan not the film's villain, Han Solo travels with Rey

Plot speculations for "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" are starting to be more rampant six months prior to its release date in December. One of the most talked about rumors regarding the film is the possibility that Darth Revan is the main villain in the film.

Revan was first introduced in the "Star Wars" universe in the "Knights of the Old Republic" video game by BioWare. He was described as a strong Republic leader who managed to drive away the Mandalorians.

Earlier reports claimed that Revan will be the new antagonist in the soon-to-be released "Star Wars" movie, but MoviePilot refuted the reports. According to the article, Revan was not even alive during the time when the sith was still developing as a secret empire, and his lightsaber in the game is completely different compared to the lightsaber of the villain in the film's trailer.

Meanwhile, a fan-made site called MakingStarWars recently posted a leaked still photo of Han Solo from "The Force Awakens." Portrayed by Harrison Ford, the worried-looking Han Solo is shown driving the Millenium Falcon, while Daisy Ridley's Rey is sitting right beside him and John Boyega's Finn can be seen at the back. The shot reminds "Star Wars" fans of a previous Han Solo scene where he was also manning a vehicle, but instead of Rey, Chewbacca was the one sitting beside him. The popular Wookie is said to be staying at the back of the Millenium Falcon to nurse the wound that he incurred during a big pirate battle that happened on the Gigantic Freighter.

On the other hand, other rumors claim that Han is related to the orphaned scavenger Rey from the planet Jakku, and he could even be her real father.

"Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" will debut on screen on Dec. 18.
