Square Enix E3 2015 news: Developer to reveal 'secret title'

Square Enix E3 2015 party invite IGN

Something's brewing at the Square Enix camp, and the world will finally see it at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 this month.

Early this week, IGN broke the news about Square Enix's plans to host a party sponsored by the video game publication to unveil a "secret title" during the E3 trade exhibit that will be held from June 16 to 18. The video game entertainment company sent an email party invite showing a map of the Atlantic Ocean, with some of the countries across the globe blurred.

The text in the invite reads: "IGN Presents: An E3 Party for a Secret Title from Square Enix."

However, IGN decided to cover the other details about the exclusive party.

While the Japanese game developing, publishing, and distributing company is still mum about what the alleged "secret title" is all about, several speculations have already begun to circulate online.

Gematsu recently noted that the background of the invite looks similar to an image seen in the official "Hitman" website. It has been long announced that IO Interactive has been working on a new installment for the  stealth game series, which is why it is not impossible for the reveal to be about a new "Hitman" title.

It could also mean that Square Enix would be unveiling a brand new IP during the said E3 2015 party.

Aside from the secret title, Square Enix will also reveal several other games during the annual video game trade exhibit, including a brand new footage from the "Dragon Quest Heroes II" and "Star Ocean 5," "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," and possibly a remastered "Final Fantasy XII."

The E3 2015 is only two weeks away, which means that the mystery regarding the secret title will be unveiled very soon.
