For the last two years, video game developers Ys Net have been slowly making "Shenmue 3" through a campaign via Kickstarter. Over the years in its development, Ys Net has partnered with multiple studious and has recently revealed a new character.

In "Shenmue 3's" official website, its developers posted an update where they posted an image of a character. "We gave a first look of this character earlier," reads the update on the page. "You'll have to wait and see how she fits in with the temple in the background."

This update was made in line with the announcement that they have also sealed a partnership with game art studio Lakshya Digital. The company, although not widely known, was actually in charge of some of the popular games players know of now. They were responsible for games like "WWE 2K16," "Bloodborne," "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," and the recently-released "Sea of Thieves."

"The game art studio Lakshya Digital will be cooperating with is to bring these great characters to life," reads a post on the official website of the game. "Lakshya Digital is based in Gurgaon (one of India's financial and technology hubs) and has studious in Pune and Seattle, where production work for the game is underway."

On the side of the studio behind the popular games, they were proud to be able to share their new knowledge, which they apparently acquired from the development of "Bloodborne." Co-founder and CEO of Lakshya Studios mentioned in an interview with Gadgets360 that they have learned to make things in game development more efficiently.

"Shenmue 3" will be an open-world role-playing game (RPG). Not much else is known about the game yet, but with Lakshya Studios in the development team, fans can definitely expect a lot, especially from its characters. The game will be out in the second half of 2018 for PC (Windows) and the PlayStation 4.
