The new school year is about to start, and so will "Scream Queens," the latest horror-comedy anthology created by TV geniuses Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. In light of its upcoming premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 22, a new trailer was released by Fox.

The trailer, dubbed as "Scream Your Face Off," shows Jamie Lee Curtis' character Dean Munsch as she addresses the student body during the Take Back the Night candlelight vigil, where she seems to be talking about the mysterious deaths on campus.

"We have to put to bed wild rumors of a red devil murdering students willy-nilly," the dean says while a creepy masked character is about to slaughter the next victim. Dean Munsch also tells the audience, "Our university is as safe as ever. Our security staff is off the highest caliber," while the video shows the security guards sleeping on duty.

Meanwhile, Curtis recently admitted in an interview with Variety that she initially refused to be a part of the new horror-anthology series, but Murphy was very adamant to get the original Scream Queen to be part of the show. Curtis said that she never even had second thoughts when she declined the role because she has a lot of duties at home. But Murphy managed to come up with a schedule that could accommodate her time.

Still, Curtis was not really sure if she is the right person for the part.

"I am not a trained person. I cannot do accents. You're not going to hire me to play Marie Antoinette. I cannot sing. I can dance a little. I don't do impressions. I'm not the Lea Michele level of talent," the veteran actress said. "(But) I can tell a joke. I'm brave, I'm strong, I'm opinionated. I scare easily. I fight back. If you took every job I've ever done and boil it down, it's going to boil down to be 'Scream Queens.'"

In the end, fans get to see Curtis play the hilariously funny but "unexpectedly sexy" dean of the university, Cathy Munsch.
