'Scandal' season 5 episode 19 spoilers: Abby and Liv fight for their wine and the Florida governor's support

Olivia is prepared to destroy Abby in "Scandal" season 5 episode 19. ABC

It's a cutthroat duel between Abby and Olivia in "Scandal" season 5, episode 19, titled "Buckle Up." The frenemies go head to head as they attempt to put their presidential bets at the forefront and keep them there.

Olivia and Abby are willing to go great lengths just to make sure that the candidates they support will win in the end, but they might end up costing Mellie or Susan the important opportunity that will boost their chances of winning.

In this "Scandal" season 5 episode, the two will wrestle for the Florida governor's endorsement. They will do literally everything to get that support, thus resulting in warfare. Earning the leader's stamp will definitely turn the tables, which is why neither of the warring ladies is thinking of backing down.

Things went downhill between Abby and Liv following the issue with Vice President Andrew Nichols. Now, the tension reaches a new high, with Abby and Liv snatching everything away from each other – from the endorsement down to the last drops of wine.

Mellie knows that this "deathmatch" will do them more harm than good, but Liv isn't prepared to throw in the towel. The promo for "Scandal" season 5, episode 19 shows Liv and Abby pulling stunts that always shock the other party.

It looks like one of them will eventually win the bout as "Scandal" spoilers hint that either Susan or Mellie will put herself in a bad light by the end of their heated debate in "Scandal" season 5, episode 19. It might even disqualify one of them from running altogether.

Elsewhere in the "Scandal" episode, Cyrus will be forced to make a decision "that could dramatically alter his future."

"Scandal" season 5, episode 19 "Buckle Up" airs April 28 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. After that, fans will be one episode away from the finale, which airs on May 12.
