The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are some of the hottest new smartphones to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona, Spain on February 25th. The South Korean tech firm has yet to confirm the details regarding the upcoming flagship's features and design, although a new teaser video gives the public a glimpse of the Galaxy S9's power. The teaser is centered on the smartphone's camera capabilities, which make the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ stand out above the rest.

As reported by Tech Radar, [MS1] the latest Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ 30-second video teaser is titled "The Camera. Reimagined." The video shows that the camera module will feature an enhanced set of flash LED lights and sensors, based on the scenes with different flashing lights and camera flashes.

More so, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ video teaser formally introduces Samsung's own version of the iPhone X's Animoji feature. The reimagined camera of the Samsung Galaxy S9 will allow the device to capture the user's facial features and expressions, portraying them through 3D emoji characters. There are scenes where the user captures a lot of selifes with his friends, suggesting that the front-facing camera will receive improvements as much as the rear-positioned snapper.

Meanwhile, a Redditor claiming to have a close encounter with a Samsung Galaxy S9 unit confirmed most of the camera upgrades teased by the company. Interestingly, there is one major camera improvement that will shock the MWC participants upon its launch, which is the Galaxy S9's capability to capture 4K video clips. However, the Redditor stated that the camera cannot support slow-mo video at 1,000fps. In terms of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ appearance, it was tipped that there will be no big changes compared to their predecessors. Perhaps the biggest design improvement will be the new location of the fingerprint sensor at the rear, which will be positioned below the camera module.
