A bigger Galaxy S7 is expected when it arrives in early 2016.

Samsung will not release its latest flagship smartphone device until 2016, but speculations about the features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 are already making the rounds online.

GSM Arena recently spotted a leaked report regarding the Samsung Galaxy S7 device from third-party accessory maker called ITSkins.

The accessory maker reportedly leaked the possible measurements of the new Samsung flagship device. According to the leaked information, one of the versions of Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a physical dimension of 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94 mm, just like the its Galaxy S6 predecessor.

However, another version will measure 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82mm, which happens to be significantly larger than the other one. Because of its size, the other version of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 will have almost the same measurement as the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 device and will be bigger than the 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note device.

Aside from the measurements of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 products, the renders information about the device was also leaked. Based on the disclosed information, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 is quite similar in appearance to the Samsung Galaxy S6. But this time, the upcoming product will ditch the typical round button and replace it with a rectangular one.

Another significant change in the renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 involves its SIM slot location. This time, the SIM slot has been moved to the side instead of its original slot on the back.

Other rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S7 said that the new flagship product line from the South Korean mobile device manufacturer will have the Type-C USB slot. This feature is already available in other leading smartphone brands, including Google's Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, as well as OnePlus 2.

At the moment, Samsung has yet to reveal the official release date and features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7, but the device is expected to be unveiled early 2016.
