While Samsung continues to receive bad news about the Galaxy Note 7, the South Korean mobile manufacturer is reportedly planning to release their Galaxy Note 8 early next year. But consumers must expect to see the device with a different name.

Reports about the sudden battery combustion of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phablet came from various parts of the world. This forced the mobile brand to stop the production of their flagship mobile phone and recall all the sold gadgets to avoid more explosion incidents.

To regain the trust of the consumers, reports claimed that Samsung will no longer use Galaxy Note 8 to name their next phablet device. However, the company is expected to launch their new phablet product together with the rumored Galaxy S8 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2017.

However, other reports claimed that the South Korean tech firm is also planning to discontinue releasing more phablet devices under the Galaxy Note product line because of the controversy.

According to reports, Samsung is currently contemplating to focus developing a single flagship product in the future. This could help them concentrate on improving the quality of their smartphone products to make sure that they will no longer encounter the same unfavorable fate of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphones are still unrevealed, but PC Advisor speculated that the two new phones will both have curved-edge screens. There are also rumors claiming that the upcoming smartphones will have a dual-lens camera as well as a high-resolution screen with 4K support.

There are also rumors claiming that the next Galaxy smartphone products will run using the Exynos 8995 processor as well as the Mali-G71 GPU.

Other specs and features of the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and its possible new name is expected to come out soon.
