Lionsgate pushed back the release date for bandit-hero movie flick "Robin Hood" yet again, scheduling the anticipated action, historical flick for a much later outing this year on Nov. 21.

In earlier announcements, the movie set to be top billed by "Kingsman" breakout star Taron Egerton was initially placed for a third quarter theatrical dropping on Sept. 14, which Lionsgate then changed to Sept. 21 before finally deciding on a November release.

Other stars set to star in the upcoming film are Jamie Foxx, who will play the character of Little John, and Eve Hewson as the protagonist's love interest -- Maid Marian. Also adding to the star-packed cast is "Fifty Shades of Grey's" Jamie Dornan who will be playing Hood's half-brother, William Scarlett.

The movie will be helmed by Otto Bathurst, notable for his work in the gritty 20's drama "Peaky Blinders," based on Joby Harold's script best known for his writing gigs in 2014's "Edge of Tomorrow" and 2017's "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword."

The movie is said to be produced by Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Basil Iwanyk, Jennifer Davisson, Tory Tunnell, and Harold.

According to reports, "Robin Hood" will be a rough re-imagining of the classic Sherwood Forest hero. It follows after titular character Robin Hood after his return from the Crusade, learning that Sherwood forest has become a breeding ground for corrupt and vile individuals.

In November, "Robin Hood" will be up against other highly anticipated movies such as "Wreck-it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet, "The Women of Marwen," "Creed 2," and "Second Act."

In other news, Lionsgate has also moved Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick's mystery thriller flick by Paul Feig, "A Simple Favor," for a fall release on Sept. 21. It centers around a vlogger played by Kendrick who conducts an investigation on the disappearance of her best friend Emily (Blake Lively).
