Jeana Keough, one of the original mainstays of the very first installment of "The Real Housewives" franchise, is staging a comeback in the upcoming season of the show, according to a report posted on TMZ.

However, sources told the entertainment website that Keough's return to the show will not be full-time, for now. The sources claim that Bravo network wants to weigh in on Keough's popularity first before they ask her to commit for longer screen time.

Keough's five-year stint in the original "The Real Housewives" series was peppered with several catfights, including one where she and co-star Tamra Barney had an ugly debacle during a cast party. At that time, the recently divorced Barney was furious at Keough for siding with her former husband, prompting the former to throw a glass of wine to the latter.

Now that both Keough and Barney, now known as Tamra Judge, will be returning to the show this season, will the two bury the hatchet or will they just reignite their fiery fury during the course of the entire season?

The rumors about Keough's return to the reality show scene started going around early this month, when Radar Online mentioned that Bravo is trying to get Jeana back.

The real estate salesperson and former Playboy Playmate of the Month also teased about her return to the show in her Twitter account, saying

"Thinking about doing a little work on the OC housewives this season, what do you think?"

Now 59 years old, Keough was initially one of the main cast members of "RHOC," but she left the show after the fifth season only to return in several episodes in seasons 6 and 7 as a recurring guest.

The returning housewife will likely join her friend Vicki Gunvalson, Judge, Heather Dubrow, Lizzie Rovsek and Shannon Beador in the upcoming season of the "Real Housewives of Orange County." However, the premiere date is still unannounced.
