It seems like the cast and crew of "Ray Donovan" are already busy filming the episodes for the upcoming season, as reports claim that they have been spotted in an area in Los Angeles.

According to the OLV website, the production crew of the hit crime drama series was seen filming one of the episodes in S Muirfield Road in L.A. The report said that the filming began at around 6 a.m. and ended around 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, earlier reports claimed that actress Katie Holmes was spotted hanging out in the set of "Ray Donovan," which sparked rumors that she will join the cast of Ann Biderman's crime series. More recently, Just Jared posted a series of photos showing Tom Cruise's ex-wife gripping her script in the set of the show, which confirmed that she will indeed join the series as the character named Paige. She is described as an intelligent and stylish business woman who turns out to be the daughter of Ian McShane's character Andrew Finney, a popular billionaire and movie producer.

The 36-year-old actress became known for portraying the role of Joey Potter in the iconic teen drama "Dawson's Creek" from the late 1990's to early 2000's. "Ray Donovan" will be Holmes' second TV series after "Dawson's Creek." She was also featured in "The Kennedys" miniseries that was aired in 2011, and she is also set to reprise her role as the legendary Jackie Kenedy in the Reelz Channel production of "The Kennedys: After Camelot," scheduled to come out in spring this year.

Aside from Holmes and McShane, Leland Orser is also added to the cast of "Ray Donovan" season 3. He will portray the role of Father Romero, who is tasked to investigate the death of the priest killed by Donovan (Live Schriber) in the past season.

"Ray Donovan" season 3 is expected to come out in summer 2015.
