'Rainbow Six Siege' Outbreak new enemies: The 5 different aliens/human hybrids

The limited time "Outbreak" event is coming in a few weeks and there will be a lot of additions to the game by then. One of the biggest new things to expect is the five different kinds of enemies that players will be up against when the event gets released.

The five different kinds of aliens or human hybrids will present different levels of difficulty, the easiest and most common of which will be the Grunts. These Grunts has a sort of activatable armor that they use when they detect enemies nearby. Players will then have to use stealth to beat them.

There are also the Breachers who very much live up to their name. They are generally bombers who run fast and jump up indestructible walls to make craters and holes. Expect the damage to be quite big if ever players get too near the explosion.

Rooters are the rare types of enemies. They do not exactly do damage upfront but they do immobilize the player by shooting out coral spikes from the ground. Make sure to be extra careful when killing them as they can deal lethal damage.

Smashers are the bigger enemies. This is what a Grunt and a Bomber could be like combined as they have both the armor to prevent bullets from damaging them while being able to tear down walls without necessarily exploding.

Lastly, there is the Apex, who is really the hardest one to beat. Apexes do not attack head on; they attack by throwing projectiles. The twist here is that only Finka and Doc would be able to counter these projectiles so the best way to win against them is proper team communication.

This Outbreak event for "Rainbow Six Siege" will be available starting March 6.
