Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) will once again find herself in the middle of trouble in the next episode of "Quantico" season 2.

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Stescalade," Alex will go undercover to investigate a terrorist cell.

The synopsis that was posted on The Futon Critic reads: "The new CIA recruits continue training at The Farm focusing on assessment, while in the future, Alex goes undercover to infiltrate the terrorist group holding everyone hostage where she is shocked to discover not everyone is a stranger."

Does it mean that Alex will find out that Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis) betrayed her while she was going undercover within the terrorist group?

Meanwhile, series creator Josh Safran explained Miranda's actions in an interview with SeattlePI. According to Safran, Miranda might be affected by everything that happened to her during the show's premiere season. While the series creator decided not to share more details about Miranda, he revealed that viewers should simply wait and see how her story will evolve. "Obviously we would not turn over that card in Episode 2 just to immediately turn it back over in Episode 3. What you see is what you get," the series creator said.

Safran also revealed that Alex will be in great danger since the terrorists know that she had infiltrated their group, and they will do whatever they can to find her.

However, viewers will still have no idea why Raina Amin's (Yasmine Al Massri) life was spared by the terrorists even if they already had the chance to kill her. "The reason will become apparent slowly, but it definitely is the first clue in a larger conspiracy that involves the hostages that doesn't appear to be the conspiracy at hand," Safran stated.

The viewers will have to wait for two weeks before they find out what will happen next in the third episode of "Quantico" season 2, since the episode will air on Sunday, Oct. 16, on ABC.
