Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) might be romantically involved with a new guy in the sophomore season of "Quantico," after a new character named León Velez gets into the picture.

TVLine revealed that Mexican actor Aaron Diaz will take on the role of León, a hot, "thrill-seeking photojournalist" who might be a love interest for Alex next season.

According to the character description, León is always on-the-go, with "no home or life outside his backpack." And based on a new set photo, the new guy will catch something, or someone, interesting while doing yoga. Could this be Alex?

This could mean that the new guy will come between Alex and Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin). But according to series creator Joshua Safran, the couple's attraction to each other will still be one of the main elements of season 2.

"The goal of season two is that we really have loved the chemistry between Priyanka and Jake [McLaughlin's Ryan Booth]," Safran said in an interview with Complex back in May. "I think we will be keying even more into their chemistry and sort of taking on a little bit more of a Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibe for season two. Season two is not grad school. You are in the real world."

Meanwhile, fans are looking forward to seeing if Alex actually decided to leave the FBI to join the CIA in the second season of "Quantico."

During the first season finale, Alex was offered a new job by Matthew Keyes (Henry Czerny) after she successfully pinpointed the person responsible for the terrorist attacks in New York. Will she take his offer and leave the bureau for a new career?

The second season of "Quantico" will also introduce other new cast members, including "L.A. Law" alum Blair Underwood as Owen Hall, "Looking" star Russell Tovey as Harry Doyle, "The Originals" cast member Tracy Ifeachor as Lydia Bates and "Supergirl" alum David Lim as Sebastian Chen.

"Quantico" season 2 premieres on Sunday, Sept. 25, on ABC.
