Alex (Priyanka Chopra) might finally discover the identity of the terrorists in the next episode of "Quantico," but the revelation might come at a hefty price.

The trailer for the episode titled "Care" shows that Alex is given another task by the mysterious terrorist group. This could be her chance to finally find out the identity of the person who linked her to one of New York City's biggest terrorism attacks. But this will not be easy, since the only person who can help her this time is Simon (Tate Ellington).

However, the synopsis for the episode reveals that Simon might be putting his life in danger to help Alex investigate the identity of the terrorist.

Meanwhile, the episode will also feature the drama between Shelby (Johanna Braddy) and her mother Laura ("Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford).

For the longest time, Shelby has believed that her parents died during the 9/11 attacks. But the truth is that her parents are just hiding from her. But Rutherford teased that there is a big reason why Laura abandoned her.

"There's there's got to be an enormous amount of that, but the point in them doing it was to protect her," the actress explained in an interview with TVLine. "They felt that the only way to protect her was to do what they did, in a way, and for her to somewhat have a normal life. It was probably a very difficult choice to make for them."

Rutherford also revealed that series creator Joshua Safran told her that her character will be cloaked in a lot of mystery.

"This was a woman who had to make some very difficult choices in life, and who obviously loves her daughter very much," the actress revealed.

"Quantico" episode 17 airs Sunday, April 10, on ABC.
