Prince Harry and Prince William dropped by the set of "Star Wars: Episode VIII"at Pinewood Studios in London where they met several cast members and characters from the upcoming film, sat behind the wheel of A-wing fighters and got into an epic lightsaber duel.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" star Daisy Ridley gave the two royals a tour around the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" studio where they were treated to an exclusive look at the props and costumes for the upcoming film including Rey's wig and her scavenger costume as seen in "Episode VII."

As they did, Prince Harry and Prince William also met John Boyega, who plays Finn in the film, director Rian Johnson and Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, who gave Prince Harry some tips in piloting an A-fighter.

The royal brothers also got to check out the collection of lightsabers for the film. They were even pictured dueling, with Prince Harry appearing to make the swoosh sound as he swings the most popular weapon in the galaxy far, far away.

Another fun thing about the tour is seeing Prince Harry give Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) a big old hug while the Duke of Cambridge tried to get to know more about adorable little droid BB-8, who was following the royals around as they toured the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" set.

The princes admit that they are "huge fans" of "Star Wars," although Prince William described himself a "total geek" for all the epic space opera. Prince Harry and Prince William's visit on "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is a celebration of "British creative talent."

Production for "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is well underway. In an interview with LA Times, actor Oscar Isaac, who plays the role of Poe Dameron, said that "in some ways it feels like we're making an independent film."

"Rian is definitely going to places and investigating things that haven't really been done in the 'Star Wars' universe. For me, it's so fun getting to explore different things that I wouldn't have expected in this universe," the actor added.

"Star Wars: Episode VIII" releases Dec. 15, 2017.
