Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement confirmed

After a year of dating, Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle are finally engaged. The information was confirmed on Nov. 27. It was also relayed that the royal wedding will occur sometime in 2018.

Followers of the royal family are excited about the forthcoming engagement. However, the announcement gained a lot of questions online. Queries such as, "When did they meet? How did they meet? How long has the entire relationship been going on and among other things have dominated the web.

The relationship between Harry and Meghan and how it all began echoed online. However, according to a speculated timeline, people first started to notice Harry and Meghan's budding relationship sometime in October of 2016.

It was a classic will-they-or-will-they-not scenario, and shortly — in November of 2016, Harry confirmed that he and Meghan had been dating for months.

Harry kept the relationship as private as he could. The prince is fully aware that Meghan and her family were harassed many times, so he told his secretary to issue an official statement regarding their relationship.

It was not until Feb. 2, 2017 that photos of the couple began to surface. The images sparked curiosity among the fans of the royal family. While it was good news to some, the fact that Meghan had gotten divorced in the past stirred some controversy.

Meghan participated in an interview with Vanity Fair where the American actress and model Meghan told reporters about her relationship with the prince. Meghan told them that they were happy and very much in love despite the trials they faced. Meghan also went on to say that things were going well for her and Harry.

The exact date of their wedding has yet to be announced, but the couple will be tying the knot in spring of 2018.
