Since "Pretty Little Liars" fans will not see the usual creepy Halloween offering of the show this year, everyone is gearing up for the upcoming Christmas special this coming winter instead.

But Emily (Shay Mitchell), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benzon), and especially Spencer (Troian Bellisario) may not be feeling the Christmas spirit in the upcoming episode.  The synopsis for the holiday special titled "How the 'A' Stole Christmas" reads:

"Christmas is quickly approaching, and all of Rosewood is full of merriment, except for Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer, who aren't feeling much holiday cheer after the loss of Mona and Spencer's murder charge looming over them."

But knowing the Liars, they could surely find a way to prove that Spencer did not commit the crime that she is accused of. They will seek the help of their significant others, specifically Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), Ezra (Ian Harding), and Toby (Keegan Allen), to look for a way to give justice to Mona's (Janel Parrish) death and take down Ali (Sasha Pieterse).

The show's loyal fans know that Toby and Caleb have been hanging out for a while, but they still have to see Caleb and Ezra work together for the sake of their loves. It seems like the upcoming episodes for season 5 will start showing them together more often.

This was revealed on Twitter last Oct. 28 by none other than executive producer Maya Goldsmith.  She said, "Okay, here's a new one. Get ready for 524 and the introduction of 'Ezreb':)"

Meanwhile, Hale confirmed the rumors that PLL will end on its seventh season. In an interview with E! News, Hale said, "Seven seasons will definitely end the show."

This rumor has been going on for a while, but fans finally heard it straight from somebody from the show. However, the actress also revealed that there are indeed several talks about the possibility of a PLL movie.

The Christmas episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 will air on Dec. 9 on ABC Family.
