Fresh from the heart-stopping reveal of "A's" real identity in the summer finale of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6, ABC Family already revealed another chilling teaser for the winter premiere of the season.
In the trailer for episode 11 titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood," the girls are seen back in their hometown five years after graduating from high school. They are already one year off from college, and are just beginning to launch their respective careers.
The girls hang out together to celebrate their reunion, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) tells her friends, "I miss your faces!"
Hanna (Ashley Benson) also flaunts her engagement ring. But while they spent five years apart and away from their past traumatic lives in Rosewood, it seems their future is still under a looming threat.
Emily (Shay Mitchell) confesses to Toby (Keegan Allen) that college was not what she was expecting it, while Mona (Janel Parrish) asks Spencer if she still keeps on having nightmares. Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) is seriously talking with someone about choices.
On the other hand, Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) seem to be reunited, until she is heard shouting, "I know you did this to protect me!"
Things begin to go downhill from there when the familiar tensed faces of the girls return after solving the mystery in the first half of the season. Emily even sees Sara (Dre Davis), the accomplice of Charles/ A/ Cece Drake (Vanessa Ray), in the graveyard. Does this mean that the girls will be facing another tormentor?
Series showrunner I. Marlene King talked with TV Line about the future of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6, and she shared valuable spoilers for the upcoming episodes. According to King, Ali is now a teacher and using the name "Mrs. Rollins" after being married to a doctor. However, she did not confirm if the doctor that she married is the same Dr. Rollins from Radley.
She also said that Ali stayed in Rosewood to take care of her estranged sibling Cece/ Charles/ Charlotte, and fans will find out how it has turned out after the five year time jump.
Also, the series showrunner said that the new "Big Bad" will have nothing to do with A, and it will be the same person that the girls warned Ali about that was shown in the summer finale.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 episode 11 will be aired on Jan. 7, 2016.
