Is Mr. DiLaurentis telling his children the truth about Charles?

In the previous episode of "Pretty Little Liars," Alison (Sasha Pieterse) asked her dad Kenneth (Jim Abele) if he knows someone named Charles DiLaurentis, but Kenneth told her that he does not know anyone named Charles in their family.

When Ali told Spencer (Troian Bellisario) her father's answer, Spencer said that she does not believe Kenneth was telling the truth since Charles' name was clearly placed inside the dollhouse for a reason. Spencer then turned to Jason for answers, and he said that there is no Charles in the DiLaurentis family but he had an imaginary friend named Charlie.

Because of the persistence of the Liars to find out who Charles is, Ali and Jason decided to confront their dad. Before the end of the episode, Kenneth was forced to talk about it after Ali and Jason showed him an old photo of young Jason and their mother Jessica (Andrea Parker) with another boy. Will Kenneth finally tell them who Charles really is, and can they trust his word after lying to them from the start?

In the promo video for the fourth episode titled "Don't Look Now," Kenneth seems to be certain that Charles could never do any harm to the Liars. It shows Ali talking to the Liars and telling them that Charles is dead. But the girls seem to be uncertain about what Ali said, since the official synopsis for the episode mentions that the Liars gather enough clues from Kenneth's confession to learn more about their abductor.

According to the synopsis, Spencer, Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Hanna (Ashley Benson) head over to Radley Sanitarium to look for any information about Charles. But the Liars have to move fast since Radley is already closed and the patients' files have been sent away for shredding. Will they be able to find out who Charles is if the details about his past disappear?

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 episode 4 will air on ABC Family on Tuesday, June 23.
