The most anticipated titles from Nintendo will reach store shelves by the end of the week, as "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" 3DS along with the Wii U version of "Super Smash Bros." are set to launch simultaneously on Friday, Nov. 21.

The launch of the "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" games will roll out in different parts of the world, including Japan, Australia, and North American countries on Friday, while European countries will get to see the titles on Nov. 28.

These two separate role-playing video games are included in the sixth generation of the popular "Pokémon" series.  These are the successors of the 2013 release  "Pokémon X and Y."

Prior to the release, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company unveiled an anime short film on Nov. 16 to mark the upcoming launch of the game. It offered a teaser behind the mystery of Mega Evolution, which will be the main game play of the two separate games. Actor Nobuhiko Okamoto voiced the lead male character, while Kana Hanazawa voiced the female lead in the video.

Meanwhile, the Wii U version of "Super Smash Bros." will finally become available after its 3DS version was first released in Japan last September.  Like the new "Pokémon" titles, the "Super Smash Bros." Wii U version for the U.S. market will also be released on Friday and the European market will likewise get the game on Nov. 28. However, gamers down-under will have to wait a bit — launch in Australia will follow suit on Nov. 29. Japan will have the game on Dec. 6.

Fans of the action-packed fighting video game are looking forward to playing the "Super Smash Bros." in its clearer, sharper version.

There are also several other features that can be experienced with the "Super Smash Bros." Wii U version, including the 8-player Smash, which is ideally played among groups of players. There are new modes and players which are not included in the 3DS version as well.

Meanwhile, GameStop stores hosted a Smash demo on Nov. 14 in preparation for the game's launch on Friday. Those who were interested to sample the Wii U version of the game and those who already pre-ordered the digital versions were allowed to join the event that lasted from 6 to 9 p.m. on the same date.

GameStop also announced that all their stores will join the midnight launch of the games on Friday.
