The augmented-reality (AR) game "Pokémon GO" has been on a roll recently releasing a lot of new content especially Pokémon in the last few months. Now, as players have wanted more events for the game, the game is issuing a challenge for its players. If they succeed in beating the challenge, there will be a special egg event.

The objective is for players to defeat the legendary Pokémon Rayquaza more times than defeating Kyogre and Groudon combined. This means that players have to stop beating the latter two pocket monsters and focus more on Rayquaza. The deadline is for the goal was until yesterday, March 5, 2018. Fortunately, there is going to be an egg event either way whether they lose or not.

If they lose the challenge, more Pokémon will be hatched that require to be under the sunny or rainy weather including fire type, grass type, and ground type. If they do beat Rayquaza more times than the two other legendaries, then the chances of getting Pokémon that prefer windy weather from those eggs will be a lot greater. This means more Pokémon types of dragon, flying, and psychic.

For those who do not see the advantage, it is quite hard for the game to get the windy weather environment. It is either usually sunny or rainy, at least in the game so it would be a huge boost to those collecting Pokémon to get hatches from an occasional in-game weather hatches.

The game follows after both Kyogre and Groudon have been placed back in the game to face Rayquaza in the Legendary Raid Battles event. As of right now, according to the Twitter account of the game, Team Rayquaza is at 52% while both Team Kyogre and Team Groudon are 48%.

It looks like the chances of winning the challenge seem likely. Hopefully, other "Pokémon GO" trainers continue the trend.
