An exciting time is up ahead for PlayStation Plus subscribers. For the month of April, another AAA will be included in the roster of free games for the month, as PlayStation Europe confirmed.

Although March 2015 is still far from over, the European arm of Sony's gaming console already stated that Arkane Studio's stealth-action game "Dishonored" will be one of the titles that will come out for free next month for PlayStation 3.

The announcement was prompted after PlayStation Europe accidentally included the link for the action-adventure game in the March free game lineup. To correct their glaring mistake, the game console maker posted an announcement via Twitter, which reads:

"Dishonored is coming to PlayStation Plus (PS3) in April. Sorry for the confusion this month - we pulled the trigger too early!"

Product Reviews stated that "Dishonored" is a welcome inclusion in the Instant Game Collection of PlayStation Plus. The Bethesda-published gamed earned several awards since its release in 2012, including the Best Action Adventure Game during that year's Spike Video Game Awards, as well as the Best Environmental Design at the Inside Gaming Awards. The Game Developer's Choice Awards also handed out the Audience Choice award to the title back in 2013.

The plot of the game is set in the fictional industrial city of Dunwall, where extraordinary steampunk-inspired technology and other out-of-this-world elements lurk in the dark. The players must assume the role of the Empress' bodyguard named Corvo Attano, who was framed for her murder. The main protagonist of the game becomes an infamous assassin who wears a disturbing mask.

Aside from the release of "Dishonored" next month, Sony will also carry on with the scheduled Spring Fever Sale that has been going on since early March. Those with PlayStation Plus subscription can take advantage of the exclusive discounts offered for the new indie releases.

The other free game titles for April 2015 are expected to be announced by Sony later this month.
