Bluehole, the developer of "PlayerUnknown's Battleground," has posted an update regarding a PC and Xbox One launch by the end of the year. The online multiplayer game's Early Access version was released for PC via Steam in March and the game has remained in Early Access since then.

According to a post on the game's official website, the developers have been working on new features such as vaulting and climbing, a desert map, new vehicles and 3D replay. Aside from these game mechanics, they have been working on optimizing the game and stabilizing the servers as well.

Bluehole will also be launching test servers in order to test the game on a larger scale. The test server operation plan will have three phases. The first phase will test vaulting and climbing, the second phase will focus on both vaulting and climbing with some added features, while the third phase will test all the new features and the latest desert map.

The test server will run for two to four weeks and there will be no updates while the developers are testing the latest content.

Aside from the upcoming tests, the developers will also focus on fixing bugs.

The game's early access version has received a lot of bad reputation, mostly with players on Steam leaving unsatisfied reviews. Most of these reviews are because of some of the multiplayer features that end up getting abused by other players. Examples of this are the banning feature and players who take advantage of cheats to put the odds in their favor.

There are still a handful of problems to fix, but considering the game is still in Early Access, the developers have time to remedy the bugs and monitor the features that players tend to abuse before the full release.
