A new trailer for "Penny Dreadful" season 3 has been released, and it shows that everyone is headed to a sinister path and is up for dark transformation as they continue to fight evil entities in the real world as well.
Vanessa can be seen isolated in a room and is possessed by another force. Eva Green, who plays the character, confirms to E! Online that Vanessa is indeed "not the Vanessa that we are used to" when "Penny Dreadful" season 3 premieres.
"It's as if her armor has been stripped away. She's stuck in this vicious circle in which she's lost all sense of who she really is," the actress explained. In the "Penny Dreadful" season 3 trailer, Vanessa reveals that Satan has influenced her.
In "Penny Dreadful" season 3, sanity slowly slips out of Vanessa's system. Her situation necessitates the services of American therapist Dr. Seward, to be played by Patti LuPone. Notably, the actress appeared on the show briefly as Cut-Wife but is now back with a new character and as a series regular.
Ethan, on the other hand, is losing grip on his true self. In "Penny Dreadful" season 3, he continues to spiral out of control. In the trailer, he is seen transforming into a werewolf after being unable to contain his rage. Elsewhere in the clip, he is seen putting his sharpshooting skills to use.
Sir Malcolm is also featured in the "Penny Dreadful" season 3, where he is seen in a scuffle with a man with a gun. His hands are bloody and his eyes show guilt. "I walk in blood every step," he says in the background.
Other notable "Penny Dreadful" season 3 trailer moments include tons of gunshots, intimate scenes and Dorian partying hard. It looks like the upcoming season of the drama thriller will have the whole package. The clip does a good job at teasing that too.
