Jamie (Sam Heughan) and the Scottish clans are preparing to launch a bloody war against the Red Coats in the 10th episode of "Outlander" season 2.

In the previous episode, titled "Je Suis Prest," Jamie decided to train the clan members in the art of war before they joined the Bonnie Prince Charles' (Andrew Gower) Jacobite army in defeating the British army.

But in the upcoming episode called "Prestopans," Jamie and his men will test their war skills in a crucial war before the historic Battle of Culloden.

Producer Matt Roberts talked about what fans should expect in the upcoming episode in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

According to Roberts, "We're going to take Jamie and his troops and integrate them within the bigger Highland army."

Aside from fighting for their lives during the war, some members of the clan will also try to involve politics to earn the royal favor.

"Prince Charlie returns and the first half is all these people trying to jockey for a position with him. Jamie is the one person who doesn't have to since he already has the Prince's ear," the producer said.

The episode will also prove that Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) knowledge of history will play a big role in the success of Jamie's upcoming war. According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode, "Jamie relies upon Claire's knowledge of history to lead the Jacobite army into a crucial battle; Claire is reminded of the true cost of war as she attends to the dead and dying."

ET Online also released an exclusive sneak peek for the upcoming episode, which shows how Fergus (Romann Berrux) interrupts an intimate moment between Jamie and Claire because of his desire to join the war. But the Frasers are not keen on allowing the young one to be involved in the battle.

Since Fergus appears to be very persistent, Jamie will find a clever way to keep him in the camp instead of the battlefield. "I don't doubt your capabilities, laddie -- but without you, who will look after the woman?" Jamie will tell Fergus in the upcoming episode. "And what of our Lady Broch Tuarach? There's no one I trust with her safety more than you."

"Outlander" season 2, episode 10 airs on Saturday, June 11, on Starz.
