'Orphan Black' season 4 episode 3 spoilers: Sarah gets to the bottom of the Neolutions' latest biotechnology

What is Rachel up to in 'Orphan Black' season 4? BBC America

The clones will be involved in more danger and drama in the third episode of "Orphan Black" season 4.

In the previous episode, Sarah unexpectedly discovered the new implant biotechnology created by Neolutions that were inserted in human subjects. But since she has little information about it, Sarah will decide to investigate further in episode 3.

According to the synopsis for the episode, things will get out of hand and she will find herself in a very risky situation where only the help of a new character can rescue her, but that person will hesitate to give it to her.

Meanwhile, Sarah's foster mother Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) will do everything to help her, even to the point of forging an alliance with an old enemy. But will this be enough to keep her out of her latest predicament? In the last scene of the promo trailer for the episode, Sarah appears to have stumbled upon a very vital information about her research. She even asked a mysterious man to give her five minutes to finish her task.

The episode will also center on the strange dynamics happening inside the Hendrix household, after Alison allowed her clone Helena to live with her and her husband Donnie (Kristian Bruun). Alison's growing irritation for Helena because the latter constantly eat their food at home was noticeable in the previous episode. But it is also obvious that Alison is getting jealous at her clone sister because she managed to conceive a child while she cannot.

Also, series creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson teased about what fans should look forward to in the upcoming episode in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. According to Fawcett, the viewers could possibly find out what Rachel was up to since the end of season 3. "That's a big one for the next episode, so it's going to be good to meet her mother, Susan Duncan. That's a big part of the mystery we're going to follow," the series co-creator said.

Manson also added that there will be "more Hendrix high jinks for next week." He also added that Alison and Donnie will be "coming back with a vengeance."

"Orphan Black" season 4 episode 3 airs Thursday, April 28, on BBC America.
