BBC America dropped the official release date of "Orphan Black" season 4, along with another explosive trailer that features the Leda clone.

The never-ending search for truth regarding the clone conspiracy is the focus of the new trailer, which follows Tatiana Maslany's numerous characters as they try to find out the secrets behind their creation.

In the trailer, Sarah mentions that she has to go "back to the beginning" to help her and her other clone sisters in their quest for the truth. It was earlier revealed by the network that she will unwillingly return home to look for the mysterious ally that has ties to Beth Childs, the one who introduced her to the world of the clones.

"Sarah will follow Beth's footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah's old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better," the press release revealed.

Co-creator John Fawcett shared their plans for "Orphan Black" season 4 with Variety in an interview in June 2015.

"I want from Season 4 a vibe of Season 1 again. I want a lot of that paranoia back, and Sarah following a first-person mystery, and a feeling of not knowing where we stand again, and having the audience not know where we stand," Fawcett said. "When Graeme [Manson, series co-creator,] and I talked about it, it was like, 'How do we give it a feeling of conclusion after three seasons and now push towards our bigger mystery?' We just wanted a reset after season three and a big emotional ending."

"Orphan Black" season 4 premieres on Thursday, April 14.
