The inmates band together to fight for their rights in the latest trailer for "Orange Is the New Black" season 5.

Season 4 left off with major changes in Litchfield and the inmates are certainly not taking it sitting down. In the new preview for season 5, the female inmates appear to have taken over the entire prison. Taking over the course of three days, some of the moments in the teaser show everyone making demands about how they are treated.

Unfortunately, the road to getting justice for all inmates is not so simple. Fans can expect more violence, drama, and revelations in the episodes to come. "If we want to turn this place right, we have to speak as one united group," Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) reminds her friends. Together, they must come up with an effective plan to get their demands to the outside world.

"Do you get what's going on here? We get beat for no reason, we're stuffed four in a bunk like we're factory chickens, we're denied basic humanity," Taystee (Danielle Brooks) tells an inmate. Best friends Maritza (Diane Guerrero) and Flaca (Jackie Cruz) are seen posing in front of flashing cameras — implying that the world has finally taken notice.

Without a doubt, "Orange Is the New Black" continues to stay relevant in the midst of the current political climate. Stars from the Netflix dramedy reunited at the Television Academy's Saban Media Center on Friday, in which they discussed the direction of the show following Poussey's shocking death.

"The prisoners have revolted and there's a rebellion. An uprising happens and there's a resistance happening in Litchfield," said Cox, whose character Sophia has just been released from the solitary housing unit. She further teased that "there's a resistance that is happening in the country right now," which somehow mirrors the storyline of season 5.

The fifth season of "Orange is the New Black" premieres Friday, June 9, on Netflix.
