The newest OnePlus smartphone will push the boundaries when it comes to midrange models, if the recent spoilers and photo leaks are to be believed. The OnePlus 6 is shaping up to be equipped with a bigger display, wireless charging, and a new camera setup.

The Chinese-owned OnePlus has already gained attention due to its 5T model, with top specifications such as an almost edge-to-edge vibrant display and a dual camera, all for the low-end price of $499 for a 64 GB model and $599 for a whopping 168 GB phone.

According to a report by Express, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that the company will launch sometime between Apr. 1 and June 30. The OnePlus 6's processor will reportedly be Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. The anticipation for the said smartphone is at its peak after website IT Home released supposed leaked snapshots of the OnePlus 6. Based on the photos, it will come with a glass body design, comparable to that of the iPhone X. Apart from that, it also comes with a vertical dual camera setup at the back and a fingerprint sensor, according to the specifications spoilers

The leaked set of photos includes a screenshot of the display with Chinese specifications on it. According to the list, the phone will come with specifications such as 6 GB RAM, 64 GB inbuilt storage, and Android 8.1 Oreo.

The OnePlus 6 spoilers may have earned the company more fans worldwide but, with the waiting time posted and Lau's recent pronouncements regarding a change in strategy, its newest flagship may not yet be 100 percent confirmed.

It seems, though, that the company will have a lot of catching up to do in case it does decide to go full speed with production of the One Plus 6. Based on a recent official company tweet, the Lava Red model of the 5T unit has already been sold out in North America.

Interested future owners will have to wait for the second quarter of the year for official news from OnePlus as well as for confirmation of the leaks that have been posted online.
