One Punch Man season 2 release date, spoilers: delay in release gives rise to varying storylines

One Punch Man Madhouse

The famous Japanese web-comic-turned-animé, "One Punch Man," has been the subject of escalating rumors lately with regard to the release of its speculated second season which is already delayed.

The season that was expected to tell the story of protagonist Saitama's life and introduce a love interest for the hero, mixed with brawls and epic fights with Genos, is diced as the creators (Madhouse) have not yet confirmed if the show will go on or not.

However this delay and the silence of the production team has not stopped enthusiastic fans from  are eagerly wanting more and have started speculating about the probable story of the show's second season.

The major speculation is that the upcoming second season will be packed  with more raw material than the first season. Thus it will have more episodes than its predecessor to cover the story's broad subplots and characters. It will also focus on Saitama's background life history and about his finding love too, which is making fans more than happy.

Alterations of storylines are expected when an animé adaptation of a web-comic is discussed, which gives rise to a completely different speculated storyline. The upcoming season will reportedly introduce a new villain that can rival Saitama's powers and he can no longer take out this one with his famous one-punch. Christian Times reports that season 2 will also see a war waged against three new villains Garou, Amai Mask, and even Lord Boros.

The tangled and messy story sees the hero defeat monsters and villains that are roaming around the fictional metropolis of Z-City along with a few more superheroes who fights alongside him.

However, some of the fans also speculate that Saitama might switch to the bad side as the story progresses and become one of the villains and fight against his former ally Genos instead. Although that sounds far fetched, you neer know what happens in the unpredictable world of anime.
