'One Piece' episode 743 spoilers: Luffy and Fujitora's big battle begins

 Shonen Jump

Luffy will do everything that he can to protect his crew in episode 743 of "One Piece."

In the episode, titled "Men's Pride – Luffy vs. Fujitora, Head-to-Head," Luffy will stand up against Fujitora for the sake of his crew.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Yibada reported that the upcoming episode will center on Admiral Fujitora's journey toward the Straw Hats' whereabouts at the Eastern Port. He is expected to use his extreme strength to prevent the pirates from escaping from the conquered Dressrosa. However, Luffy will attempt to thwart Fujitora's plans.

Since the admiral is visually impaired, Luffy will announce all of his moves before he strikes to warn Fujitora of his upcoming attacks. But instead of being grateful, this will further annoy the admiral because the latter believes that his enemy is patronizing his blindness.

But Luffy will tell him that his declaration of his attacks is not out of courtesy. He just wants Fujitora to know how he would defeat him.

While in the middle of the battle, Fujitora will reveal the real reason why he became blind in the first place. The admiral will reveal that he took away his own vision because he decided that he had seen enough horrifying scenes in his entire existence. But he will also admit that he regretted the decision.

However, the pair will also realize that their fight will have to end without a winner, since they know that the Straw Hats will also do everything to help Luffy escape. But Fujitora will continue planning how to attack Luffy for another day.

The synopsis for the entire series reads:

"Monkey. D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become the king of all pirates. With a course charted for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line and beyond, this is one captain who'll never give up until he's claimed the greatest treasure on Earth: the Legendary One Piece!"

Episode 743 of "One Piece" is slated to begin streaming on Crunchyroll in the U.S, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America on Saturday, May 28.
