Eiichiro Oda's popular manga series "One Piece" will start with a new adventure after the culmination of the Whole Cake Island arc. The Straw Hat pirates have survived a gruesome fate in the hands of the fearsome female Yonkou, Big Mom, but the group still needs to worry about their journey to the Wano Country, a place where Monkey D. Luffy is expected to face one of the most dangerous pirates in the world.
According to OtakuArt, "One Piece" chapter 903 will mark as the beginning of a new story arc in the manga series. There is not much information available regarding the next story arc, although the fans are already aware that the Straw Hat pirates aim to reach the Wano Country once they rescued Sanji from the Big Mom pirates.
However, before reaching their next target destination, the team will experience a brief detour to Reverie. It is possible that chapter 903 will introduce new characters to complete the Reverie arc, although this part of the series is not expected to last as long as the previous Whole Cake Island arc. The Reverie arc is predicted to be comprised of 15 to 20 chapters only.
It is also uncertain if the Reverie arc will begin with Luffy's quest to bring down Kaido and the Beast pirates, although this may be unlikely as the Straw Hat pirates have yet to reach the Wano Country at this point. The "One Piece" editors have already teased about the Reverie storyline even before the Whole Cake Island arc, and it was reported that Weekly Shonen Jump will have a special issue next week to provide a brief background on Reverie.
To recap the previous chapter of "One Piece," the Straw Hat pirates were successful the evade the attacks of Big Mom pirates as they attempted to escape from Cacao Island.
Unfortunately, their allies were the ones who took the brunt of Big Mom's anger, including the Vinsmoke clan, Sun pirates and Jinbe, who was the last person who took a firm stand against Big Mom. It can be assumed that everyone who tried to protect the Straw Hat pirates from Big Mom will be either killed or punished, given how powerful the female Yonkou has become after eating a delicious cake.
"One Piece" chapter 903 will be released in Japan on April 30.
