'Once Upon a Time' season 6 spoilers: the truth about Aladdin to be uncovered

The Storybrooke heroes will find out the truth about Aladdin in the next episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 6.

Based on the promo trailer for the episode titled "Street Rats," the show will step back in time when Princess Jasmine (Karen David) asked Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) to help her look for the secret weapon that will help her get rid of Jafar's power over the Sultan and save her city from further destruction.

The trailer showed that the two will journey towards the Cave of Wonders, where Aladdin discovered his life's mission.

Meanwhile, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the rest of the gang was also seen looking for answers regarding the mystery that involves Aladdin. This could mean that Emma is trying to know more about her own fate as she might also have the same future as Aladdin since both of them are Saviors.

The episode that was reported by Comic Book Movie reads: "Enter a whole new world of magic and adventure. At the heart of a wondrous quest, lie the answers this savior is seeking."

Meanwhile, the previous episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 6 revealed that the Storybrooke heroes must sacrifice the life of one of their own in order to defeat the Evil Queen.

The episode titled "Strange Case" pointed out that Regina (Lana Parilla) must die in order to stop her evil alter ego from spreading further darkness. Regina has no problem giving up her own life just to end the reign of the Evil Queen, but it might not sit well with the rest of her friends.

At the moment, the Evil Queen has no clue about the secret that further ties her existence with Regina. But will she cause further problems if the secret finally comes out?

The next episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 6 will air on ABC on Sunday, Oct. 23.
