'Once Upon a Time' season 5 episode 15 spoilers: Snow White seeks help from a childhood friend to save Hook

Hercules (Jonathan Whitesell) helps the heroes of Storybrooke defeat Cerberus in Once Upon a Time season 5 episode 15. ABC

Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) needs to face several challenges in order to save the love of her life in the next episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 5.

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Labor of Love," a prisoner who escaped from Hades' (Greg Germann) clutches told the Storybrooke heroes that Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) is being locked up by the ruler of the Underworld. The escapee warned them that they must fight off a petrifying beast in order to infiltrate the prison, but it will not be easy.

The synopsis also revealed that Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) knows exactly who can help them defeat the terrifying monster. Based on the sneak peek for the episode, Snow White will look for her childhood friend Hercules (guest star Jonathan Whitesell) to help them defeat the monster, which appears to be the three-headed dog named Cerberus.

"You're the only one strong enough to defeat that beast," Snow reminds her friend.

But it seems like Snow White's only hope to save her daughter's lover is not like the hero that she used to know. In the sneak peek, Hercules seemed reluctant to help them at first. But Snow will do everything that she can to make him realize that he is capable of defeating the beast.

The episode will also feature a flashback showing the young Snow White questioning herself if she is capable of preserving peace in her kingdom. But she needs to find courage to do so if she wants to become the queen of the Enchanted Forest.

Aside from Hercules, Megara (Kacey Rohl) will also be featured in the upcoming episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 5. Will she help Hercules find the courage needed to defeat Cerberus?

"Once Upon a Time" season 5, episode 15 airs Sunday, March 13, on ABC.
