Netflix shows to expect towards the end of October

October is approaching its final week, but binge-watchers all over the world will be happy to know that streaming service Netflix still has a few more surprises up its sleeves. Before the end of the month, several new shows will be available for viewing.

Here's a preview of what to expect toward the tail end of October.

The dramatic comedy "While We're Young" and the hit animated movie "Meet the Robinsons" are coming on Oct. 23 for a nice day of both drama and light-heartedness.

"The Mist" as well as seasons 1 and 2 of "Wanted" are coming on Oct. 24 for a day of suspense and a small dose of Stephen King's signature brand of horror.

Mystery western film "The Hateful Eight" and Chinese martial arts film "The Final Master" are coming on Oct. 25 for a day of action-packed fights. Alongside these films, Spanish telenovela "La Queridad de Centauro" will also be airing.

"Strange Weather," a drama about a mother who lost her son to suicide, airs on Oct. 26.

Meanwhile, hit TV series "Stranger Things" is making a comeback with its second season on Oct. 27, alongside Netflix documentary "Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold."

Oct. 28 features "Pup Star: Better 2Gether," an endearing tale about a Yorkshire terrier who wins a singing competition and makes his way to stardom.

Then, on Oct. 30, things are changed up a bit and instead of a movie or TV show, "Judah Friedlander: America Is the Greatest Country in the United States," a stand-up comedy show, makes its premiere. The show features Judah Friedlander and follows him over several evenings as he makes his way across New York to perform.

The last show of the month, "Zumbo's Just Desserts" airs on Oct. 31. An Australian reality TV show about baking features a competition to be the best baker one can be.

Though the October list has come to an end, a variety of even more shows are coming in November.
