Netflix January 2015 new movies and shows: Friends, Mean Girls, White Collar and more [full list]

Christmas has yet to arrive but Netflix already gave its holiday gift for TV and movie fanatics when it released the new list of movies and shows that it will feature once the new year comes. 

Probably one of the most exciting and highly anticipated entries in the January 2015 Netflix roster is the mega hit comedy sitcom "Friends," including all its 236 episodes during its entire 10-season run. It means that beginning Jan. 1, fans can start re-watching all the funny antics that Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Ross, and Joey did. 

The online streaming website will also feature 32 other popular titles at the beginning of the year. One of them is the epic teen movie "Mean Girls," which catapulted Lindsay Lohan to stardom. Tom Hanks' critically acclaimed film "Castaway" will also be featured next month, together with "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas" featuring Johnny Depp, as well as "Bad Boys II" which stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. 

Aside from "Friends," other popular TV series like "White Collar" featuring Tim DeKay and Matt Bomer will be shown in the online streaming website, as well as James Roday's "Psych" and the 2012 edition of "Dallas" TV series.

To make room for the new releases, Netflix will discontinue other shows that were earlier distributed in the website, including "A River Runs Through It," "Braveheart," "D3: The Mighty Ducks," "Happy Gilmore," "Love Actually," among others.
