Thanksgiving is just right around the corner, but the members of NCIS's Office of Special Projects have to focus on other things before they can celebrate the holiday in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8.

The next episode, titled "Glasnost," will feature a reunion between Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and his father, Garrison (Daniel J. Travanti). But the two will not reunite for the upcoming holiday. Instead, Callen must interrogate his father after he was found in the hospital room of one of the NCIS patients during a radiation poisoning case. This means that Callen must make sure that his father has nothing to do with the crime, or if he knows who could be behind the radiation poisoning.

The two had a very complicated relationship as father and son. But will Garrison's possible involvement in the case have an effect on Callen?

The episode will also show how the OSP members will try to get into the festive mood in time for the holidays. As per the synopsis for the upcoming episode, the team will be talking about their plans for Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile, speculations claimed that Miguel Ferrer's character Owen Granger might end up dead in the upcoming episodes of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8.

Viewers found out in the previous episode that Owen is suffering from a very serious disease. He even told Hetty (Linda Hunt) that he might have cancer. But only the OSP's Operation Manager knows about his condition. Will the team find out about Owen's disease before the Thanksgiving?

CarterMatt revealed the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads: "After Callen's father, Garrison is found in an NCIS patient's hospital room during a radiation poisoning case, Callen must take him to the boatshed for interrogation. Also, the team discusses their Thanksgiving plans."

CBS will air the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8 on Sunday, Nov. 20
