Trade rumors about the Sacramento Kings' Rudy Gay remain as multiple teams express their interest in the power forward.

Reports claim that Gay and the Kings are in the middle of a complicated relationship at the moment, and both camps are looking for ways to move on from each other. But it seems like Gay is interested to see himself wearing the Miami Heat jersey in October.

Early in August, the Miami Herald revealed that Gay and Heat have mutual interest in each other.

"According to an associate, the Heat is among teams that very much appeal to Sacramento forward Rudy Gay, who has been available in trades. But Miami likely lacks the tradable assets to acquire him if it wanted to and his $14.2 million player option for 2017-18 is worrisome. Players signed this month in free agency cannot be traded until Dec. 15," the report claimed.

The Heat could benefit from Gay's arrival, especially after they lost Dwayne Wade to the Chicago Bulls. However, the team has no tradeable assets that could attract the Kings to get into a deal, since the Heat may not be willing to give up their big men Goran Dragic, Chris Bosh, Justise Winslow, and Tyler Johnson for trading.

Another team that could be interested to get Gay for the upcoming NBA season could be the Houston Rockets. The team is currently rebuilding their lineup after losing Dwight Howard to the Atlanta Hawks through free agency.

If Gay will join the Rockets, he could help strengthen the team's starting lineup that currently includes Nene Hilario, Clint Capela and Ryan Anderson. He is also expected to fit perfectly in the coaching style of the Rockets' new coach, Mike D'Antoni. But the Rockets might have to let go of Trevor Ariza, KJ McDaniels, or Corey Brewer in order to acquire Gay in their roster.
