'NBA 2K16' news: Gameplay and graphics improvement

2K Sports recently released a short video to talk about the upcoming improvements that they included in the soon-to-be released "NBA 2K16." Based on the video titled "The Living World," the game will come with several graphic and gameplay enhancements, and it will have more dynamic storylines as well.

Game developers Mike Wang, Jerson Sapida, and Scott O'Gallagher talked about the changes that they made in the upcoming game.

"The system is dynamically changing and evolving constantly," O'Gallagher shared in the video. "In the regular season, [San Antonio Spurs coach] Gregg Popovich may give you his base general pick and roll defense, but let's say you have success in Game 1 of the playoffs versus them, Game 2 is going to be entirely different."

The developers also stated that the players and coaches in this installment will be smarter since they will be capable of making decisions on their own. A situational fan reaction and players' ability to detect opportunities while in the middle of a play is also added in the new game.

As an example, the game developers showed Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry while attempting to use an off-ball screen to launch a three-point attempt. His actions changed when the defense got too close, so he adjusted and drove to the hoop to make an easy two-points instead.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant reportedly received the lowest player rating of his career in "NBA 2K16." The four-time NBA All-Star MVP awardee and multiple NBA record-holder received a dismal 85 player rating in the upcoming game. His lowered ratings number could be the result of having another surgery, and the fact that he is already 37 years old.

Bryant used to have a 99 player rating in "NBA 2K9" during the peak of his career, but it continuously declined over the years. Last year, the Black Mamba first received his 80+ bracket ratings.

"NBA 2K16" is slated to come out on Sept. 29 in various platforms.
