'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' free to play; Tips, tricks & cheats

Although Boruto is now the main character of the new and aptly named series "Boruto," fans can still relieve as Naruto in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." Xbox One players can even do so easily as the game is now out for free. Those who are trying it out for the first time can check some gameplay tips and tricks below.

Before anything, fighting against artificial intelligence (AI) enemies in the game and gradually increasing the difficulty will have players learn a thing or two. However, playing online against other players will be a lot harder. That is especially now that it is free on Xbox One, a good number of players will be back to play the game.

There are generally three tips players must master: cancelling combos, ending combos with Ultimate Jutsus for maximum damage and just understanding other players' fighting styles. Combo cancelling is not the same as cancelling enemies' combos since this is used for the player's own combo so that he may link more combos forcing the enemy to use substitution just to get out.

That said, when cancelling combos, there are also three ways to do so. First is the most common one people will see online. Players load up chakra for a second and dash right away to the enemy. They can also jump to end mid combo and start another combo. Alternatively they can jump into another direction to position themselves.

As for timing the ultimate jutsus, it is quite straightforward. They will do their own combo cancelling and when this happens, players can call in for support and while they are doing the damage, players can do their ultimate jutsus. Similarly when in combo cancelling, call in support again to keep the combo so when they are done, the next thing they will get hit with is the ultimate jutsus.

Finally, when playing online, always adapt to the enemy. This is a trick that is most common in any fighting game. The key to victory is understanding the enemy.
